MAKSTTON Vehicle Fitment Guide
iCAR V23 Wheel Fitment Guide
Based on a 2025 Chery iCAR V23 measured and fitted by MAKSTTON, this guide covers the 5×108 bolt pattern, center-bore and wheel-bolt specifications, the factory 19-inch wheel and tire package, measured fender clearance and the recommended forged wheel specifications. It also documents three MAKSTTON installations, including one that contacts the front inner liner at full steering lock.

iCAR V23 Wheel-Bolt Specifications
The iCAR V23 uses removable wheel bolts rather than wheel studs with lug nuts, and the bolt seat is ball seat rather than the 60° conical seat used on most vehicles. Ball-seat hardware must be matched to the wheel being fitted.

Valve Stem and TPMS
The measured iCAR V23 is fitted with rubber valve stems. A rubber stem cannot be transferred to a new set of wheels, so an alloy valve stem must be added when the wheels are changed. Where a vehicle is already fitted with alloy valve stems, those can be reused directly with the tire-pressure monitoring sensors. The valve-stem mounting position on this vehicle is parallel.

Wheel Load Requirement
The factory iCAR V23 wheel is marked with a rated load of 700kg. Off-road vehicles are conventionally calculated with the higher load factor of 1.3, against the recorded maximum permissible gross weight of 2,085kg:
2,085 ÷ 4 × 1.3 = 678kg
MAKSTTON therefore recommends a minimum rated load of at least 678kg per wheel for this application.

Front inner tire sidewall to suspension: ≈32mm.
Use this guide as a baseline, not the final answer. Measurements from your own vehicle are always more valuable. Read our Flush Fitment Guide, measure your car, and calculate the fitment that matches the stance you want.

iCAR V23 Wheel Fitment FAQ
What are the iCAR V23 bolt pattern and center bore?
The bolt pattern is 5×108. The published center-bore specification is 60.1mm, while MAKSTTON machines its custom wheels to 60.05mm for this application. The inspected vehicle recorded a wheel center-bore reading of 60.081mm and a hub diameter of 60.03mm.
What wheel fitment does MAKSTTON recommend for the iCAR V23?
For a rim position approximately 10mm inside the fender, MAKSTTON lists 18×8.5J ET40, 19×9J ET35 and 21×9J ET35 with 265/60R18, 255/55R19 and 265/45R21 tires respectively. For a more aggressive stance, 18×8.5J ET20, 19×9.5J ET19 and 21×9J ET15 place the tire approximately 10mm outside the fender line. See the final recommendation tables for the full specifications.
Does the iCAR V23 use ball-seat or conical-seat wheel bolts?
The iCAR V23 uses M14×1.5 wheel bolts with a ball seat and a 17mm hex and a 30mm thread length. Ball-seat hardware is far less common than the 60° conical seat used on most vehicles, so the new wheel must be machined with a matching ball-seat radius. Never fit conical-seat bolts to a ball-seat wheel, or the reverse.
What minimum wheel load rating should be specified?
The factory wheel is marked 700kg. Using the off-road load factor of 1.3 and the recorded maximum permissible gross weight of 2,085kg, MAKSTTON uses at least 678kg per wheel as the reference for a custom wheel on this vehicle.
Can the factory valve stems be reused?
The measured iCAR V23 is fitted with rubber valve stems, which cannot be transferred to a new set of wheels — an alloy valve stem must be fitted with the tire-pressure monitoring sensor. If the vehicle is already on alloy valve stems, those can be reused. The mounting position on this vehicle is parallel.
Will a wider tire rub on the iCAR V23?
Yes. On the iCAR V23, both 265/60R18 and 255/60R18 all-terrain tires on an 18×8.5J ET15 wheel contact the front inner liner at full steering lock, and raising the suspension does not clear it. The fix is to heat the front inner liner with a heat gun and bend it slightly, or cut it away. Confirm clearance on the actual vehicle before ordering.
