Jinan

In June 2024, our northern photography tour reached its second stop: Jinan. The 43°C heat made the city’s summer unforgettable. Working outdoors was demanding, but the team was happy to meet the owners who had made the trip to join us.

One owner drove 400 km to take part, the farthest journey made by anyone at this shoot. We were touched by the time and effort people were willing to put into meeting us. We wanted to respond to that trust by carefully photographing their cars and giving them images worth keeping from the trip.

Between shots, we talked about modifications, everyday driving and each other’s ideas. Meeting face to face helped us get to know the owners and understand their preferences and needs. Working with people who share our interest in cars is one of the pleasures of these trips.

Special thanks to the Jinan owners who helped a member of our team celebrate a memorable birthday. Being away from home and receiving that kind of care and company meant a great deal to us. Jinan left us with memories of working in the heat, support from people who traveled to see us, and a birthday we will remember.
