Makstton Vehicle Fitment Guide
DENZA Z9 GT Wheel Fitment Guide
The DENZA Z9 GT’s thick factory brake calipers limit the space available for wheel concavity. Based on physical measurements and verified installations, this guide provides 21-inch and 20-inch wheel fitment data for reference.

Factory Wheel & Tire Specifications
| Position | Wheel | Tire |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 21×9J ET45 | 255/40R21 |
| Rear | 21×9.5J ET50 | 275/40R21 |
| Vehicle Specification | Factory Data |
|---|---|
| Bolt Pattern | 5×120 |
| Center Bore | 64.1mm |
| Gross Vehicle Weight Rating | 3,115kg |
| Factory Wheel Load Marking | 1,050kg per wheel |
The DENZA Z9 GT is a heavy vehicle. Replacement wheels should have a load rating of at least 1,050kg per wheel, matching the factory wheel-load marking.
Measured Factory Fender Clearance
With the air suspension set to its lowest position, the measured distance from the outer tire edge to the fender was:
| Position | Left Side | Right Side |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 13mm | 13mm |
| Rear | 14mm | 16mm |
Small left-to-right differences may result from vehicle assembly, suspension alignment and normal measurement tolerances.
MAKSTTON Recommended 21-Inch Fitment
| Position | Wheel | Tire | Compared with Factory |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front | 21×9J ET35 | 255/40R21 | Approximately 10mm further outward |
| Rear | 21×9.5J ET39 | 275/40R21 | Approximately 11mm further outward |
This setup retains the factory wheel widths and tire sizes while creating a fuller overall stance.
Why Do the Factory Calipers Limit Wheel Concavity?
The DENZA Z9 GT’s factory wheel has an overall center-disc height of approximately 41mm, while the factory brake calipers are relatively thick.
To maintain sufficient brake clearance, the spokes must extend further outward. This leaves limited space for a deeply concave wheel face. A lower offset alone does not necessarily create more concavity.
Wheel concavity is mainly determined by:
- Brake-caliper thickness;
- Overall center-disc height;
- Wheel mounting-pad position;
- Spoke-back profile;
- Required clearance between the spokes and brake caliper.
Can Aftermarket Brake Calipers Create More Concavity?
If the aftermarket brake calipers are narrower and have less outward projection than the factory calipers, additional space may become available behind the spokes. This can allow the wheel face to achieve a greater degree of concavity.
However, aftermarket caliper designs vary. Final fitment must still be confirmed using the caliper template, center-disc height and spoke-back profile.
Real-World Fitment 01: DENZA Z9 GT

| Item | Front | Rear |
|---|---|---|
| Model | MAKSTTON FK08 | |
| Wheel | 21×9J ET35 | 21×9.5J ET39 |
| Tire | 255/40R21 | 255/40R21 |
| Brake Caliper | MAITUO MX9 | MAITUO ME4 |
This vehicle is fitted with narrower aftermarket brake calipers, creating additional space behind the spokes. This allows the FK08 to form a degree of concavity while maintaining sufficient brake clearance.
Real-World Fitment 02: Next-Generation DENZA Z9 GT

| Item | Front | Rear |
|---|---|---|
| Model | MAKSTTON MR5 | MAKSTTON MR6 |
| Wheel | 21×9.5J ET38 | 21×10J ET38 |
| Tire | 255/40R21 | 255/40R21 |
| Suspension | Factory | Factory |
| Brake Caliper | Factory | Factory |
This setup retains the factory suspension and brake calipers while using wider front and rear wheels to create a fuller stance. Because the factory calipers are retained, the wheel-face profile must prioritize brake clearance.
Real-World Fitment 03: 20-Inch Wide Setup
| Item | Front | Rear |
|---|---|---|
| Wheel | 20×10J ET45 | 20×10.5J ET45 |
| Tire | 275/45R20 | 275/45R20 |
Data provided by R.U.K.I
This setup uses wider front and rear wheels with matching 275/45R20 tires on all four corners.
Rear-Wheel Steering Note
The 21-inch and 20-inch fitments listed in this guide have been installed on actual vehicles and tested throughout the rear-wheel steering range.
When the vehicle configuration matches the corresponding case, and the suspension, body and steering systems are operating normally, no interference with the DENZA Z9 GT’s rear-wheel steering system was observed.
However, individual vehicle tolerances and actual installation conditions may vary, so unusual cases cannot be completely ruled out. If any abnormal contact or interference is found, please contact MAKSTTON and provide feedback.
If the vehicle’s wheels, tires, brake calipers or suspension differ from the corresponding case, dynamic clearance must be checked again.
